2008 IADDA Annual Conference General Information Click

Management, Clinical Staff (Counselors, Social Workers), Prevention
Specialists, Substance Abuse Specialists, Researchers, Policy Makers, Mental
Health Professionals, Human and Social Services Workers, Juvenile
Justice/Criminal Justice Workers, Child Welfare Workers, Educators, Health
Advocates, Community Advocates, and Primary Health Care/Medical Professionals
are encouraged to attend. Conference Materials Conference
attendees will receive a CD-ROM containing complete conference information and
handouts. Individual workshop presenters
may have printed materials available during their session. Continuing Education Attendees
can earn continuing education credit for a variety of professional
certifications at the IADDA Conference including IAODAPCA, LCSW, LSW, LPC and
LCPC. Attendees needing out-of-state or
other types of continuing education units are asked to contact the IADDA office
prior to the conference. Attendees will
have to sign for continuing education units each day of the conference. Weather
in Cancellation and Refund Policy Cancellation requests must be
received at the IADDA office in writing on or before September 15, 2008. No refunds will be issued for cancellations
received after this date. There will be
a $75 processing fee charged for all cancellations, regardless of the
reason. Please allow up to four weeks
for your refund to be processed.
Cancellation requests may be faxed to IADDA at 217.528.7340. Substitution Policy Substitution notification including
complete registration information is appreciated prior to the start of the
conference. Walk-in substitutions,
however, will be accepted. No additional
fees will be charged for substitutions. Meals Attendees
who register for the entire conference have all meals, breaks and the reception
included in their registration fee.
Attendees registering for individual conference days have the following
meals provided: Tuesday,
September 30 - Lunch, Breaks, and
Awards Reception Wednesday,
October 1 - Buffet Breakfast,
Breaks, and Lunch Thursday,
October 2 - Buffet Breakfast,
Break, Lunch Attendees
who have a special diet (i.e. vegetarian, low carbohydrate, etc.) are asked to

individual meal tickets for exhibitors or guests may be purchased by contacting
IADDA. Prices for individual meal
tickets are available on the
Exhibitor/Sponsor Information page. Additionally,
individuals who are not registered for the entire conference or the “Tuesday”
day of the conference may attend the Awards Reception for a fee of $50. This fee covers the price of beverage and
hors d’oeuvres. This is a time to
network and talk one-on-one with fellow conference attendees, DHS
Administrators, Legislators and other invited guests. Hotel Information The Hilton Lisle/Naperville is
located at 3003 Corporate West Drive, Lisle, Illinois. Located just 27 miles
west of Chicago, this Hilton Lisle/Naperville Illinois hotel in the
Lisle/Naperville area offers something for everyone. Convenient to downtown
Chicago, and O’Hare Airport, this Hilton Lisle/Naperville hotel is at I-88 and
Naperville Road near the corporate offices of BP, IMB, Computer Associates,
Lucent, Aramark and MetLife. After a busy day, unwind and
enjoy the fitness center, indoor pool and whirlpool. The Hilton
Lisle/Naperville hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to local area
companies and Metra train station. Visit nearby attractions such as the Morton
Arboretum, Chicagoland Speedway, Chicago Premium Outlet Malls, and the
Naperville Riverwalk. Aware-winning cuisine and extraordinary atmosphere await
you in Allgauer’s restaurant located in this Chicago/Naperville area Hilton
hotel is open daily for breakfast, lunch an dinner. Additional information

responsible for making their own hotel reservations by calling the Hilton
Lisle/Naperville at 630-505-0900. In
order to receive the discounted group rate of $109/night plus tax (standard
king), you must mention that you are attending the IADDA conference. This rate is available until September 8, 2008. Reservations
made after this date are subject to availability. All reservations must be guaranteed by credit
card or first-night reservation fee. Hotel check-in is 3 p.m.;
check-out is noon. Hotel cancellations must be
made directly to the hotel.
Cancellations must be received by the hotel at least 24 hours before
scheduled arrival. Those failing to notify
the hotel in the requisite time will be charged for the first night of their
reservation. Requests for refunds for
cancelled hotel rooms must be made to the hotel. They are not guaranteed by and are not the
responsibility of IADDA. Directions From From Take Cicero Avenue north to I-55 South to 355 North. Take
355 North to I-88 West and exit at Naperville Road. Go north on Naperville Road
to Warrenville Road and go east. The hotel is on the south side of the road at
the first intersection. Transportation For the guests of the Hilton Lisle/Naperville, My Chauffeur
and American Limousine Service are available to handle all of your
