Why Should You Be A Sponsor?
Conference sponsorship is a way to
showcase your organization’s technologies, products and services to substance
abuse professionals, managers, staff and decision-makers. Sponsorship creates exposure for your
organization, provides an opportunity to broaden your contact with substance abuse
professionals, allows you to promote your message and services with these
professionals and assists you in increasing your awareness of new trends and
pressing concerns in the

Organizations wanting to become a Sponsor
have numerous price ranges and options from which to choose. The following descriptions are designed to
provide you with the information you need to allow your organization to choose
your desired level of involvement and exposure to attendees of the IADDA
Conference.

Activity Sponsor- For organizations wishing to target a specific day, materials, or social event during the conference, activity sponsorship provides an attractive option. This allows your organization to choose your desired level of involvement and exposure to attendees at the IADDA Conference. One key reason why attendees come to the IADDA Conference is to network and establish contact with other professionals in the field, so social events such as the Awards Reception, Luncheons and Breaks are very well attended.

Sponsorship Benefits (For All Sponsors)
All Sponsors will receive: signage on display boards near the activity being sponsored, inclusion in conference brochure, program and written material throughout the conference, and free advertising on the IADDA web page (if production deadlines are met); as well as, acknowledgement to conference attendees as a conference supporter during morning opening remarks.
Additional Specific Sponsorship Benefits
Co-Host-
This package combines marketing and publicity before the event and
extensive exposure during the conference.
Benefits include: Co-hosts are
entitled to provide appropriate signage in the conference registration area. Your organization’s logo will appear
alongside those of other Co-Hosts on the projection backdrop in the
ballroom. Additionally, Co-Hosts will
receive free exhibit space and have the opportunity to provide their company’s
brochure in the registration materials that are distributed to participants
upon registration at the conference.
Each Co-Host will be offered 3 complimentary full conference
registrations (includes meals, breaks,
workshop attendance and participation in the Networking Reception) with
the option to purchase four (4) more full-conference registrations at a 15%
discount off the applicable full conference registration fee.
Conference Sponsor- Each Conference Sponsor will receive free exhibit space and will be offered 1 complimentary full conference registration (includes meals, breaks, workshop attendance and participation in the Networking Reception) with the option to purchase two (2) more full-conference registrations at a 10% discount off the applicable full conference registration fee. Additionally, Conference Sponsors will have the opportunity to distribute their company’s brochure in the registration materials that are distributed to participants upon registration at the conference.
Sponsorship Terms and Conditions
■ All Sponsors will be accepted on a
first-come, first-served basis. IADDA
reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of any company interested
in sponsorship and further reserves the right to reject any Sponsor that it
deems inappropriate or inconsistent with the mission and vision of the
Association or the IADDA Conference.
■ IADDA makes no representation concerning any Sponsor, nor its products or services, and the admission to the conference of any Sponsor constitutes neither an endorsement, recommendation, nor a representation by IADDA of any Sponsor, or its products or services.
■ Sponsors receiving complimentary full conference registrations are expected to make their own accommodation arrangements. See the Hotel Information section on the General Information page for more details.
■ All sponsorship materials must be submitted before August 31, 2006 to ensure inclusion in the production schedule. Sponsors wanting to take advantage of having their advertising on the IADDA website prior to the conference should submit their pledge no later than August 4, 2006. Sponsorship pledges after this date may still be accepted with caveats.
■ IADDA and the Wyndham Drake are not responsible for lost or missing items, for the safety of a Sponsor’s materials from theft, damage by fire, accident, vandalism or other causes, whether the result of negligence or otherwise either during the day or overnight.
■ Sponsors are allowed to offer pledges for single or multiple items/events.
■ In order to limit costs, IADDA may choose to limit the number of colors used for the printing of Sponsor logos on any and all printed material and signage.
