Why should you join IADDA?
There are many excellent reasons why you should join the only statewide association in Illinois that fully represents your substance use
disorder prevention, treatment and recovery interests and needs at the State and Federal levels.
A unified voice that makes a difference in the future of our field
- IADDA brings together the many voices from around our field in a coordinated and unified effort to make a change in Springfield and in Washington.
- IADDA monitors budget negotiations and pending legislation and orchestrates a synchronized response from agency directors, clinical staff,
prevention specialists, consumers, family members and other invested individuals across the State.
- IADDA coordinates access to policy makers, both State and Federal, for issues important to substance abuse prevention and treatment providers,
including mental health/MISA, juvenile justice, corrections, child welfare, domestic violence and others.
